2008 Addy Awards

What a great collection of local design again this year. Madhouse swept the competition with their amazing work. My favorites of the night were the Red Sparrowes poster, the Closet Monkey tags, the Charlie Brown themed Christmas card, and the beautiful invitation with the luggage tags.

The pictures seem to indicate that everyone had a good time.

What did you think of the Addy's? Did you have a favorite piece? Are you inspired to create great designs of your own?

Once again the ADDYs showed that there is an abundant amount of creative talent in Toledo. I especially liked the work of Madhouse. It's smart, inventive, and well executed.

I was also glad to see you (Davis students) at the event. Hopefully this experience will inspire you to do your best work and settle for nothing less.

Thanks again for letting me be a part of this experience. It was really wonderful.

My favorite piece was the marketing brochure that Communica, Inc. did for St. Francis High School. It was visually stimulating and inclusive. I could see a potential student being excited about attending St. Francis from this piece.

I agree that the body of Madhouse's work was head and shoulders above the rest. What a creative force they are. It shows the advantage of working in a truly collaborative environment.

Raise your hand if want to work for MadHouse!

It was definitly an inspiring event. There were tons of examples of great work. Very cool. I would have like to see some of the winners actually accept an award or two. Thanks!

This was my first year at the Addys and I enjoyed it. Madhouse was top dog. I like their work. I would love to see more of their work at their studios. I also liked the monkeys and the UT advertisements.

When I grow up, I want to be in the Madhouse. Heh. Seriously, their work is made of awesome and I truly admire their creativity.

The Addy's were well paced, well produced, and well catered. (Hey, I'm a college student.) I loved the intro Madhouse made for the event.

My favorite piece was Madhouse's poster for "Morphed" at the Toledo Zoo. I'd love to get my hands on a copy of that, framed and mounted, for my office.

For those who are interested, Madhouse's website is www.madmadmad.com and they have a blog!
